MG4 Trophy camera not switching off

My car is a little over a year old. Twice recently the camera has not automatically switched off after reversing, even though I was doing 40 plus MPH going forwards. After the first time the Infotainment system was upgraded to R59, but it has happened again since. Selecting the Home button returns the camera back to normal operation.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I reverse out of my parking space then drive forwards, joining slow moving traffic. The camera remains on screen until I speed up which could be a quarter of a mile away depending on traffic. I cannot manually close the camera which means I cannot access the satnav, radio or HVAC controls. The only way round this is to put the car into Park, then into Drive again.

Have you re-booted? hold the home button down for approx 20secs until it does?

I must admit I have not tried rebooting the system. I will. Unfortunately I cannot create the issue on demand so will not know if it has cleared for some time.

If you have one of the star buttons on the steering wheel set to the 360 camera, you can press it when moving forward slowly and it will turn off (or turn on if not on already)

This is what I did with the left button.
