MG4 Trophy long range charger issues

I have a 4 month old MG4 Trophy and have now had 3 issues with charging. The car stops or will not charge and a yellow battery warning light come on with a line through it. The AA detached the 12 volt battery and left it for a couple of minutes then reattached it and the car took a charge. However I had to turn the car clockwise and anti clockwise to reset some of the systems and the windows had to be worked until they went up and down fully. This has happened twice now so I carry a 10mm rachet to disconnect the battery. Apparently this is effectively switching your car (computer) off and on so it reboots itself. I will be taking it to the dealer as soon as I get back from holiday. Electrics are generally very unreliable, sometimes slow to start and the road speed notification (3-/40/60 miles per hour) changes without warning.
I hope a complete check from the dealer will sort out these issues but worrying when your charging system is so unreliable.

That sounds annoying.

Hope the dealer can work out the cause of the issue.
