MG4 trophy LR I smart not connect on ac.

I have MG4 TROPHY L R.
Phone I smart system wororks on everything except the ac setting. Any body had this problem.

Are you trying to use it while the car is connected to a charger but not actually charging?

Are you doing the second part of the process where you have to send the temperature to the car?

Good point @Rolfe about charging, they probably don't have this wonderful update that changes a few things whilst charging.

Today I activated the Remote AC operation on my Trophy without setting a temperature; the car's HVAC system activated without me having to change/send the temperature.

However, there is doubt over the accuracy of the internal and external temperature sensors and therefore I would agree with @Rolfe's suggestion to send a new temperature remotely until you are certain the basic remote control works.

The first time I tried it I didn't think it had worked because I didn't know about sending the temperature. Then someone on the forum told me how to do that.

I am in home not on charge when I try to contact ac from mobile all I get is error code 47.i think some how it's back to the garage again.

I think we've all had that from time to time, but it shouldn't be happening constantly.

Car Mg4 in garage regarding phone contact ac. They've had it 2 days now and keep saying we have contacted MG TECHNICAL Team who ever they are ar been sat there. I am getting a bit fed up they give me a car to use. I have a problem at home wife has alzheimers and throat cancer. They ring and say can you return the car I say no I can't get any one to sit. They seem to be obliging maybe they are. I'm 82 and hope to get car back soon. This is on motability scheme.
