MG5 Exclusive LR
First Post.

When I was looking through the various mods and upgrades I couldnt find anyone that had fully De-Badged the rear on and MG5 LR.

So I did it :) After some advice from Paulie I heated, pealed and cleaned off the badge juice. I can confirm the main rear MG badge is just stuck on.

Added some photos. Not sure if I like it yet but its rear number plate next.

Let me know what you think.

Was going to ask how you got rid of the black bar so smoothly, but I see it's still there just blending in. Black makes for a good choice to hide it!

I had a silver MG5 and I did not like the black bar under the rear number plate so I removed it. I had some near match silver paint in my garage so I painted the the screws and replaced them. The 2 screws were hardly noticeable which in my opinion looked better.

What are your reasons, if I can ask, for removing all the identifying badges and labels from the rear? Have you also removed the MG badge from the bonnet?

I got a tall numberplate to cover my screws, although I had to remove the MG5 badge in the process. Can't decide if I can be bothered putting it back on or not. Either way it looks so much better without the bar

I removed all the MG5 Estate badging "cluster" as it just looked like a haphazard mess, wasn't even on straight out the factory. The car looks much better without it. I've kept the main MG roundels, but thinking I might remove the bonnet one to give a smoother look. All the MG badging looks a little bit afterthought as this car was never going to be an MG to begin with, it's really a rebadged Roewe Ei5.
