Hi all
Just had to travel 2.5 miles from work to home in the snow
We have a good inch to an inch and half of snow (compacted to ice on some parts of my journey) on untreated roads up and down hills
The car took it all in its stride
Eco mode kers 3
No wheel spinning a pleasure to drive
I normally have problems getting onto my drive with snow on the ground with my other ice cars but this just crept up in reverse with no issues
All in all first drive in an automatic in snow I was very very impressed

Did you experiment to compare performance with KERS1, 2 & 3?
I'd have though level 3 may be a bit harsh in snow and ice.

KERS 3 may be harsh when used from speeds you are unwise to encounter in snow and if you lift off completely. I use 3 all the time but generally slow down by not releasing the accelerator completely. Doing this is like blending all three modes together, but controlled by your foot in infinite steps, rather than just 3 different levels. Haven't tried it out in snow yet, I might add!

It would be interesting to have a play in a safe environment.
I do tend to use KERS3 most of the time and my driving style is adapted to suit but I haven't yet experienced driving the car in snow or ice.

Not really snowy enough to test out kers 3 for myself this morning.
I enabled kers 3 but never really got to a decent speed on the side streets, the main roads were pretty clear with just half inch of slush outside of the main tracks.

That’s really good. Using kers do you get abs?

I don’t know I would think it would lick in if it had to
I didn’t feel any abs involvement as it didn’t go into any kind of skid
The car was very well planted on the road
It was gentle on and off the accelerator and no braking
Cheers

Hi
No I didn’t experiment with kers I had just finished a 12 hour night shift just wanted to get home
I was just using accelerator pedal
Slowly on and off so there wasn’t any hares regeneration
Cheers

Depends how cold the battery is, in my ZS KERS is noticeably reduced below 2 deg C first thing.
Hi
Temperature was fluctuating between-1 and 0 oC
The heater and heated seats did there job good too ??

Was this in the original Bridgestone Ecopia tyres? Or have you changed them to a more suitable tyre.

Hi
No everything is as it came from the factory
I have never had winter tires on any of my cars
I’ve had a couple of slippy moments but always got to my destination
I just drive to the conditions
I was very well impressed with the car this morning
Cheers

Yes it would be nice to have a play
(“IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT “)?
But the snow has just about gone in my area now☹️

Hi
Kers 3 worked fine
I was just using the accelerator pedal slowly on and slowly off no problems going up or down hills?

How long did it take to heat the cabin up?
I got in turned heating upto max put heated seats on
Then I cleared the windows and bonnet of snow (about a minute)
Got back in and it was warmed up no condensation
Outside temperature was showing
-1°C
