MGZS 2023 SR Battery

Are all post 2022 51kwh MGZS EV's using the LFP battery? based on the fact the 8th digit in the car's VIN number being a 4 or 5 indicate a LFP battery, well mines a 9, so did they use a different battery??

I have a 2022 standard range ZS, and the 8th character in my VIN is also 9. Where did you see the information that it should be 4 or 5?

I thought all 2nd gen ZS EV's with the 51 kWh battery we're LFP, not sure now

@Steve018 On your car’s charging screen, can you set the slider bar to less than 100%? If you can, then your battery is NMC. If it reverts to 100%, then your battery is LFP.
