During recent negotiations to purchase a pretty new MG, on discussing P/Ex value of my car, it came out that its service was several months overdue. I was then told this would invalidate the warranty {nasty shock} {certain amount of panic}. The negotiations continued, and l was told they would still take my car P/Ex {Relief}, and its value was not a tragedy {greater Relief} so a deal was eagerly {Bit their hand off} struck.
Being a bit of a Cynic, the thought now occurs, can the Main Dealers re-instate {wangle} the warranty?, Not complaining, still Happy with overall deal, £18500 74 plate Trophy 10mls, my £13000 22 plate Exclusive 6940mls. Sign of the times?, Dealers fire sale of MG5s, before the MG4 ESTATE gets announced? Don't care I'm still happy with the 5s niggles put right !!!:giggle:

:( Update, Too good to be true, Karma punishing me for bragging, Dealer can't sell me that car { defective battery or something }. But can sell me a "Brand New one" for "only £19995", well after frantically searching for a better bargain, and not finding anything cheaper, l had to swallow, and buy the Brand new one, Patiently now waiting delivery :(

I'm sure they can reinstate warranty validity before resale because they carry the risk (which in real terms to them is zero).
