Rugby Services on the M6, some silly old <bleep> in a week old Leaf decided it was a good idea to go the wrong way down the road to nip into a vacant charging space just as I was reversing.

It was only a love tap, nobody was hurt, I have protected no claims & its only money but even so, ?.

Only comfort I’ve got is that his looked a damm site worse off, put a massive dent in his passenger side front bumper.

I does look like a lot of that will just clip back it's nice to see the holes are not broken on bumper

Wow ….. !!.
A bit if shadow on the picture, makes it hard to access the damage, but the rear qtr panel is hopefully escaped any damage ??.
It look like the the rear bumper cover needs “Clipping Back” into its retainers and you are good to go !.
The wait on any body panels is kinda kelt to be lengthy ?.

If I have to wait, I have to wait. I’m just thankful that nothing particularly dramatic happened.

Frankly, a car called Moby Dick has got to have a few battlescars

Mine's called The Batt Moblie. I can't imagine what kind of adventures that one's going to have (I hope it doesn't get covered in bat guano, seagull poo is bad enough :))

I've got a name for mine but it can't be repeated here.

Fortunately no Seagulls in the ‘shire, however I do have the occasional problem with nextdoor’s tree.

He is filthy though (not the good kind) so Tuesday’s job will be a wash

Not-that-anyone-else-but-me-cares update- he’s back from the repairers and all is now right with the world.

As an aside (and #notsponsored) the whole experience, from ringing insurers to arranging pickup to hire car to back again has been absolutely painless, although the pessimist in me is waiting for something to go wrong…
