Today I did a 230 mile round trip in my Trophy starting around 6AM when it was about 8 degrees C, getting up to about 20C. I'd set battery heating to start at 5AM and charged it to 100% overnight.

About half the distance was dual-carriageway or motorways where I stuck at a leisurely 62 or 68 respectively where possible. The rest was rural cross-country doing more like 40-50. Only minor elevation changes as I crossed the South Downs (England) and back.

Got home with 13% left, giving me an estimated range to 0 of 264 miles. Got to say, I'm pretty impressed by that! Only a handful below the 271 it estimated before I left.

The improving temperatures are making a noticable difference to range. Gets even better in the summer, you may even exceed the maximum MG quote.
I think I would have exceeded it, if it weren't for me driving it in a bit more of a "spirited fashion" once it was clear I had more than enough juice to get the last 40 miles of motorway home.

Very excited to give mine the full “what max range” treatment. Just picked it up last Monday so only had it a week, but it is estimating between 250-260 miles.

This is a rather optimistic range. We drove from Nottingham to Worcester and back yesterday (168 miles) in an MG4 Trophy (64 kWh) and the SoC dropped from 100% to 29%. = 3.7 miles per kWh, equivalent to a max range of 236 miles. Driving was on motorways but restricted to 50 mph on some stretches due to roadworks and also in heavy showers.

Yeah I mean, I’m realistic and doubt I will get that much, but as I haven’t had a full battery use yet I have to be optimistic! I’ll update when I know.

So I managed to get 216 out of the battery with 27 miles left and 10% battery. So if it is accurate should manage to get 243 out of the full 100%. Doubt I’ll get there, and didn’t really like it going to 10%, but good to know that I can at least get 210 out of it on multiple small trips.
