I was getting fed up with the way my ohme charger was installed every time I park on the drive so today I sorted it

Nice job !.
Looks much tidier.
I guess the question is :- "Why did the original installer not go for rear entry access into the wall box, for the supply cable in the first place ?".
No smutty jokes here fella's please ! ? .

I did to but he was just a kid and didn't really have any idea of what I was trying to say I was just happy to get it fitted with the right paper work I wanted a hypervolt but there is only 2 chargers I could fit for 5p any time tariff b4 Grant ended

Good shout mate !.
I know where you are coming from, you just want them out of there !.
I do like the looks of the Hypervolt unit myself.
It's terrible when you are paying for a so called trained professional to come in and install a wall box, then a only a few weeks latter, you end up reworking it to a much higher standard as the customer !.
Looking at that original cable entry point, would drive me absolutely mad.
I would have done the very same thing, as I watched his van go around the corner.
You have done him a favour, making his work look better than it actually is !.

That would annoy me too.
I stipulated that no installation cabling should be visible when I had my HyperVolt installed:

How's the HyperVolt performing? Do you use it to only charge by solar PV by any chance? That's a key benefit I'm looking for? Tossing up if the App control is better or "on charger" like Zappi.

I don't have PV (although I'm seriously thinking about it together with battery storage) so the only smart thing it needs to do is timed charging and it performs this faultlessly.
The only issue/"unexpected feature" I encountered was a failed charge when I plugged in more than 12 hours before the start time because it apparently times out after this period.

Hi N2STY,
Was it easy to open and reseal the OHME unit, I have this unit installed in my garage but was advised that it is sealed unit and warranty would be void if tampered with.
