Hi.
My navigation tells me to go outside to a better place for better receiving GPS signal. It always say that, no matter where I am. Always my mobile with Google Maps has no problem.
My dealer told me that it is because of not having the right map of Curacao. They send one to MG but somewhere it went/goes wrong. I think for myself that it is a Bul^&%t answer of my dealer. The car is sold so.... service??.... what's that?

Can some of you help me with it? I know I can use Google by Android Auto but..... it's there so why not use it?

So....who can help? Thanks.

That suggests to me that there is a problem with the Satellite Navigation antenna.

Some models use part of the rear defroster as the antenna, but I think that all ZS models have the antenna under the dash somewhere.

Your dealer should know about this. I'm guessing that you don't have a lot of dealers to choose from in Curaçao. Unless you are willing to find a service manual and investigate yourself, I don't know that much can be done.

Thanks. As told, mine dealer blames MG. They tell me that they have problems with implementing the map.
Is that possible??

It's tricky, so yes it's possible.

Updating maps is actually something that you can do yourself, if you know where to download the appropriate map updates. I assume that you need the address that all owners in South America use, though that might be too big, so they could well split that into regions.

You should be able to find that link on appropriate MG websites for your region. Perhaps some local Facebook pages could help too. Using the wrong region maps could be the reason for the dealer's problems.

If you manage to update the maps yourself, then that removes one excuse for the navigation not working.
