It's telling me 42kWh consumed with 10% battery left. That would only give me a battery size of about 47kWh. Please tell me I am somehow calculating this wrong, I would hate if I already have this much degradation with less then 5k km on the odometer. Did a 2% to 100% charge about two weeks ago to calibrate the battery.

Yes it was slow charged to 100% for balancing of the battery. Just right now ran it down to 1 to see how much power is put back in to the car. Now it's saying 47 kWh used with 1 percent left.

Just in case : the consumption isn't linear and when the car show a SoC, it could be wrong.
You have the case : 5 kWh with 9%
And remember with the SE (1st gen), battery is 51 kWh and usable is 49 kWh approximately

Ah is that right, for some reason i thought it was all usable for the lfp battery.

Also any recommendation for an inexpensive OBD reader for the car. Thanks

The 1st gen SE was specified with a 51kWh LFP battery, with 50.8kWh usable. Those were the original specifications, and are what ev-database still say.

Do you by any chance know there is still any battery left after we hit 0 and how much

I'm not aware of anyone ever taking the LFP version down that low. I know Bjorn Nyland (TeslaBjorn on YouTube) did it with the 64kWh NMC version and managed a further 24 km or so (~15 miles) until the car died.

Depends on the method you can calculate it by? Its hard to make out but the consumption / 100km on the blue graph appears to be 15 kWh. If you have 306 km on the odometer, that equates to 46 kWh used, add on the remaining 10% (5 kWh ) and you're at 51 kWh. All good?

Also to note Consumption will not equal actual kWh charged.
If you see my example images from my car on the 8th, 16kWh "consumed", but to top it up to 80% was 19.54kWh at the charger. Thats ignoring 1.31kWh later on for the cabin preheat.
I assume it's due to balancing and losses.
I did 44.7 miles which works out to 2.28miles/kWh (actual wall charge) compared to an indicated 2.79miles/kWh. I'm in hilly Sheffield and I do not drive in Eco.
