Hi everyone,

I'm well into the journey of almost buying a brand new MG ZS EV, trading in my 68 plate Hyundai Kona 1.0t-gdi. I have test driven the ZS EV twice now and I really like it.

However, a small apprehension comes from not having a driveway or being able to charge the car at home without trailing a cable across the pavement. Now I admittedly live in a very gentrified area of Manchester, with quite a few Be.Ev chargers about a 10 minutes walk away. So charging shouldn't be too much of a concern, but:

My main concern is the equalisation charges I've read about in the owners manual and a fair bit on here. Will a public 7kWh charger be able to conduct (I'm sorry) equalisation charges?

That aside, I'm fairly confident that the ZS will fit into my life. My husband thinks the passenger seat height is perfect, I love the MG Pilot system and the space inside is cavernous.

The one I've driven and I'm looking to buy, a 21 plate unregistered ZS EV Exclusive, seemed great and drove really well.

Can anyone advise on things to look out for? Anything to ask the dealer to check such as BMS updates or Comfort (?) Updates?

Thanks in advance.
