I am absolutely loving my new trophy ZS Ev but a couple of minor software changes will improve it radically IMHO. Firstly when on Apple CarPlay you cannot see the temperature of the outside anywhere except by coming out of the CarPlay screen and going into the air-conditioning menu. If the outside temperature could be posted in the top right hand corner along with the other info that is there that would be really good.
I don’t know whether this would be possible but the menu bar that sits at the bottom of the screen when you’re on the home screen would be good to have all the time including when you’re on Apple CarPlay.
Also the buttons under the screen should have their indication illuminated irrespective of the State of the outside lighting as during the day it is difficult to see the buttons without having to really look at them and even though you become familiar with them I believe it would be better if they were to remain illuminated. These are very minor changes and as I say I love the car but I believe these minor changes would make it even better.
The functionality of the MP3 only player for music tracks off a USB stick is very limited and I am somewhat disappointed by this step backwards from earlier models which had greater flexibility better music playability from sticks and also JPEG functionality which has been removed. This is a change that I cannot understand from a UK perspective but maybe from a more global Point of view users in other parts of the world and more geared to streaming from Spotify and Amazon music et cetera. I guess this could be the reasoning that drove this which in my opinion is a wrong decision.
