New ZS EV ad aired at halftime in Chelsea v Liverpool game shows Trophy OTR price of £34,040 with £1,500 govt grant included.

It cannot include PICG, it doesn't qualify cos it's over £32,000!

Misleading? The voiceover says prices from £29,495 whilst the ad shows what is in the Photo.

The YouTube video is 6 days old has a completely different price from and no mention of PICG unlike the ad that aired on TV.

Come on MG this is confusing and misleading.

I guess they're bending the rules a bit as the lower cost car qualifies, or they're making up the cost of the grant themselves.

This advert was probably made months ago and MG have been caught unawares with this new grant situation (as were we all).
The ad was only released 7 days ago.

That's what I thought but run it back a few times and it says (in print)£1500 PICG which replaced the previous £2500, so they got that bit right. I think, like ARH says above, it is bending the rules. They would argue they are referring to the voice over when giving information about the PICG.

I still think it is somewhat misleading, especially for a consumer that doesn't do a lot of research.
