Newbie questions

Hi all, I picked up my 2021 MG5 yesterday so have only driven it from the dealers to home, so not had much chance to "play".
I have an android phone and was wondering how to connect/pair it to the car and if there is some app available to give me a view of the car info.

Hi, you can connect it via Bluetooth for calls and audio but it works better with a cable in the left socket. Get a good cable as some are a bit flakes.
You will need OBD port reader to get car information.
Use the search bar on the forum to see what people are using.

In addition to what @Jomarkh has written I wonder whether you are asking about an "app" specifically for the car? If so, since you have a pre-facelift model unfortunately there isn't one.

That is a shame that there is no app. I guess the attitude is, I didn't have an app for my ICE car so no problem ???.
Thanks anyway. Just had it out around town. Need to put my left arm in a sling at the moment as it keeps reaching for the gear stick. It seems very economical around town.
