Hey everyone,

I recently discovered that the MG Cyberster doesn’t come with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, which is a bit surprising for a car in this category. Has anyone here retrofitted one?

Would love to know if there are compatible mirrors from MG’s other models or aftermarket options that fit well without too much wiring hassle. If you’ve done it, where did you get it, and was it a straightforward install?

Looking forward to any recommendations!

Cheers!

I was thinking the same thing.

Is that digital with integrated rear camera? Some people prefer the camera video feed. I always have my mirror angled so it shows it dimmed all the time 😆

This looks really cool and I was really excited - however, I see an issue with the rear camera being mounted on the rear windshield (and putting down the top) :)
I want to replace the mesh wind deflector by a clear glass (as sold on MG Titan, without cyberster inscription). Then mount it there somewhere.

That's a fantastic idea + I means I can finally buy some accessories for my yet-to-be delivered Cyberster :).

I installed a BlackVue Dashcam on my Tesla Model S - that was a bit of a pain to route the wire for the rear camera, but should be easier on the Cyberster.

The glass is perspex so bendy glass. But should be solid enough and does come without the text. You need to specify. They supply the holder. The default holder isnt suitable.

Regarding go pro should stay it looks solid enough. Theres a lack of Cyberster videos. Mostly junk A I videos. Would be good to see owners opinions and driving the car within the limits obviously.
