North Wales Chargers

I have used the Tesla chargers at flint a few times now and there is a hotel on site with a restaurant. We went in there last time and had a nice coffee whilst waiting for the car to charge up.

Just spotted these relatively new charging site yesterday, nice fancy Porsche charging on one of the rapid units !.
Travelling on the A55 in the direction of Llandudno, leave at the first St Asaph exit ( the one before the Talardy Hotel ).
There is a large brown information sign clearly displaying “The Tweedmill Outlet Store”.
It’s takes less than 10 minutes to reach the shopping outlet store after you have left the A55.
There is a coffee shop upstairs and a full restaurant on the ground floor, this could be very handy if you needed a charge on route further down the coast, as you can grab something to eat, do a bit of shopping and use the toilet factories, while your car is charging away.
This maybe a good option, as maybe it will be less populated than others chargers, close by 🤷🏻.
It’s easy to return to the A55 in about 8 -10 minutes.
Worth noting, the chargers are only available within the stores opening hours !.

If you’re on the A55, come off a few miles earlier and go to the Osprey ones at the Pentre Halkyn exit. Twelve 300kW chargers instead of the four 100kW ones at Tweed Mill. Or go to Tesla at Flint Mountain which is busier but also a lot cheaper.

Note that the Tesla units are the old v3 kind with the hole through the middle, meaning that you'll need the Tesla app to activate them.

Both Billie Jean's (the Osprey site) and Flint Mountain Hotel (Tesla) do really nice food.
