OBD Location

Does any one know where OBD location is in the cyberster? I want to connect it to use it with ABRP for trip planification.
Hi. I'm getting the Cyberster early next year and prompted by your post may be interested in ABRP. I have Apple devices. Why would I (you) need to access OBD rather than use the phone GPS?

The advantage is that ABRP can get the info about your consumption and battery state of charge so it can redirect you to a farther away charger or near one depending on these factors. I am used to Tesla software which works amazingly well and plans routes perfectly. I just hope ABRP can do something similar if it has that info.

I've been using Tesla chargers for 9 years, maybe once a year I charge elsewhere. Last week I used FastNed charger which costs a whopping € 0,69/kW. Yesterday supercharging at € 0,26. For other brands, Tesla is charging between € 0,37 and € 0,47, which is by far the best price on the market here in Belgium/Holland. So I think I'll keep using Tesla chargers exclusively, even the older V2 chargers are 150kW, more than the Cyberster can take.. Everything in 1 app, simple invoicing,...

That said, if you use the Tesla software to help you find chargers, you probably lose a lot of time. When I cross Europe, I charge every 160-200km. On German Autobahn sometimes less than that, at high speed. When I'm at the charger, I check distance to next charger then multiply that by 1.3 or 1.4 (or 1.8 Autobahn LOL) for wanted range. I charge up to maybe 200-250km and off we go. I usually arrive at next charger with less than 10km range left, sometimes zero. That way I can use the fastest charging curve over and over. When Tesla tells me to charge 4 times, I charge 7 times. When driving south to Spain, I can clearly see a gain on other Teslas travelling the same route.

I am interested in what ABRP can do with the OBD connection. Keep us posted!

Well I have been using abrp with the odb and I find it very useful for traveling. First it gives you a more real estimation of the amount of battery you are going to arrive base on your driving. It plans for you the different chargers that you are going to need and adapts in case consumption changes.

Honestly that is what I have with my Tesla and I missed that a lot

In the other hand with other apps you can see a lot of information of the car like battery temp engine info and etc. Good for friki people like me. I use car scanner for that.
