OBD2 implementation on a ZS

Superb work. Very useful, I also find that not having the SOC is annoying. I can even imagine sending it via sms or wifi before the car comes to a complete stop to retrieve this value in my home automation system.
One question: do you think your code can work with a BLE obd2 ?
I have a feeling that the library wouldn't be the same.
What do you think?
Thanks.

Thanks for the flowers!

Yes, BT and BLE are different technologies, and Elmduino doesn't mention BLE (that I could see). I'd be surprised if the OBD2 dongles use BLE, as they're not meant to be low-power devices (they are connected to the car's 12V).
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Hello Gonzo. Thanks for your quick reply. So here's what the packaging and references for my dongle look like. I leave it in the car all the time with no worries about the battery.
I use it with ABRP, eZs and Car Scanner.
But I'd really like to get this information and inject it into my home automation system. One day I'll have to install a scanner to sniff the dialogue between the applications and the veepeak terminal from a Linux terminal emulator, for example.
Anyway, congratulations on your achievement
