Octopus Power Hour

Today is my Power Hour the only thing I have on it is the immersion heater. Any thoughts on what else I can use it for?

I estimate that the most you will pull is about 10kwhr which is about £1.50 at current rates - so power hour is not saving you much!

Does it matter? You'd have to do all these things anyway, even if they take 2 hours, the first hour would be cheaper than had you done it at any other time

Why not set it up for the 4 hour 5p slot

Ah well then you get to work out whether 1 free hour + X normal rate is cheaper than X at 5p per hour

Dishwasher and washing machine probably have a single hour option. As to whether that will do the job or not.
