The R59 update in October 2024 on my MG4 Trophy LR had several benefits.
The big one for me which I'd already mentioned here was the quelling of the over zealous Lane Keep Assist, but I still turn it OFF as I don’t like it!
For those in this community there is also a very useful shortcut to disable LKA (but for some reason unknown to me they call it EKA on the drop down screen MG4 trophy LR) some will be aware, but I bet lots are probably still unaware.
Direct access to LKA toggle:
The latest software update provides a dedicated button in the quick access drop-down menu to easily turn Lane Keep Assist on or off.
Simply swipe down on the main screen left or right side (not the centre) and toggle EKA (LKA) then togglr disable. Very much easier than going through the whole menu.
Hopefully this will help a few here, works great on my Oct 2023 MG4 Trophy LR, not sure if it applies across the board.
