Hi all,
I'm expecting a response from the dealer soon (having raised it for a 4th time in 12 months) but I'm hoping someone else finds this problem familiar.
In my 23 ZS Trophy LR I've almost never had the radio (DAB, FM, AM) working. Resetting the infotainment system using the home button or disconnecting the 12V battery doesn't appear to have any effect likewise with resetting the connections to the DAB unit. Cycling any number of audio options also fails to do anything. The only slight way to increase the odds of the radio working appears to be if a Bluetooth device drops out of range which seems very odd to me, there are no other patterns to influence if it works or not!
To give some perspective, the radio will go multiple weeks without working at all, then maybe once in a month it will suddenly be working when I use the car, often but not exclusively when a phone drops out of range. The radio will again not work on the next journey. Factory resetting the infotainment and removing any paired devices has no effect either. AA and Carplay work without a problem so it's not as though audio doesn't work, likewise for the radio when it has worked
The dealer is expecting to need to remove the head unit and send it to MG though I wondered if anyone else had a similar issue and how it was resolved in case I can prompt them for a quicker solution?
