Rapid charge rate 31kwh even on 120kw charger? Is it supposed to be 75kwh?

I've put together all of my rapid charges since I bought my car and I've noticed the following:

Min charge rate: 15.95 kw
Max charge rate: 45.42 kw (Only 3 out of the 14 charges were in the 40s, with the maximum being 45.42)
Average: 34.94 kw

Most of the charges were on a 50kw charger, but one was on a 120kw charger, temperature over 10c, and I only got 31.93kw, is this normal? I've read somewhere the MG ZS can have up to a 75kw charge rate, but I'm definitely not seeing that.

My car is a 2019 MG ZS EV and it's still due to have some of the updates, wondering if it'll be better after one of those?

It might be too small to see, but I've added the working out in case you're wondering.

Thanks :)

Some have disingenuously promoted the fact that the original ZS is capable of charging at 70 odd kW when in truth this is only possible under certain conditions (battery pre-heated, car at a very low SoC etc.) and then only for a few minutes. The charge profile, indicates charge rate tails of pretty quickly from this peak.

What you have experienced is not unique.

The good news is that later BMS updates do seem to improve things. Most of us rarely need to use rapid chargers and if we do it is often after leaving home with a full charge, driving around 100 miles at motorway speeds and rapid charging from 15-80%, in which case charge rates of high 30 or low 40 kW are possible. It might mean an extra 10-20 mins rapid charging but if this is a rare event it isn't too much of an inconvenience.

I hope and expect that the profile of the new ZS is higher and flatter meaning that real world charge speeds are higher and necessary dwell times less.
