Rattles

Rattle update:

I’ve asked in a few places if anyone had experienced/solved a certain rattle in the front of the car.

Seemed to be coming from passenger side air vents, door pillar… where I was listening it would sound like it was coming from somewhere else.

Long story short the rattle was coming from the sunglasses holder area/console thing.

Opened the sunglasses holder, undid the two screws, dropped the whole panel out, stuck some of the felt tape where I could find contact and it’s perfect now.

Mine rattles when I go over bumpy surfaces, in the rear door near the speaker, mainly when the car is cold.

something similar used to happen on a BMW I owned before and fix was to rub some silicon lubricant (I used wd40) on the rubber seals around door frames. Took nearly every rattle of the car too.

It does it if I open the door and thump it in the area of the speaker, it's definitely something inside the door.
