Has anyone found a problem with rear break callipers sticking on and pitting on the brake disks.
Only had the car just over a month, 500 miles on the clock.

After my car sat over a wet night, the next morning when I went to drive away, a stuck sounding feel/sound came from the rear of my car. It has only happened the once.

It's a common problem on all cars, particularly on cars parked up for a day or two after heavy rain. It also happens if you park up after washing your car. Driving for a short distance with your foot lightly holding down the brake pedal will clean up the discs and pads.

Thanks for that Clive, as usual a world of information. x
Thank you for the undeserved recognition Ann x

Brand new brake calipers go rusty with the slightest bit of water, but although unsightly, it's only surface rust which wears off as soon as the brakes are used, as @DeclanB said earlier. ?
