Rear door stay bar grommets

Hi,

Just noticed the grommets on both rear doors are just sitting on the support bar. By the look of them and the hole in the door it would appear they should be in the door to reduce water ingress.

Can anyone confirm please?

this looks normal to me for doors on any car and is inside the door seal.

Just had a look at mine, and they are the same, the arm travels all the way into the door so when it is closed the door will be sealed by the gromit....
