Hi everyone. I'm looking at buying an MG4 that's been in a front end collision. The chassis looks ok, but the airbags have gone off. I know I can get the ABS sensor and belts reset. Does anyone know how hard the pyro fuse is to replace in the battery packs? Anyone done this already?

Physically the pyro fuse should be reasonably straightforward, I think where you will come unstuck will the the lack of access to the diagnostic tools / knowhow. If it was a VAG - I'd go for it, as you can get access to ODIS / vagcom VCDS etc., and people know who to use them and can do it remotly for you.... but with an MG I cant see the same sort of access to diagnostic tools.

An example of this, is that I've just got a Autel TS508 TPMS reset tool, with latest verson. Yes I can select the right car, in my case MG4, on the tool, but getting it to work through the OBD port is something else.

Better adding your thoughts to the above thread rather than duplicating. (y)
