I'm looking at applying some of the Bilt Hamber rust proofing products to my pre-facelift MG5.

Does anyone know how many spray cans I'll need?

Aside from the brakes, are there any surfaces I shouldn't spray or cavities I shouldn't fill?

Please let us know how you get on. I am intending to treat my MG5 PFL with Lanoguard.
If you can, a few photos would be good to see.
Forget the Lanoguard, it's very heavily promoted but mediocre. (As anything over promoted usually is!) Use Bilt Hamber Dynax or Dinitrol. Thier websites will advise on the right products to use for cavities and underbody.

Thanks for the thoughts and recommendations.

Bilt Hamber seems to be the easy choice. It out performs Dinitrol in every performance test I've seen and is cheaper.

It's just difficult to work out how much is needed for an MG5. Guess I'll just buy a few cans and hope for the best!

Thanks.

I think it tells you on the website the expected coverage per can if you have a trawl around. My experience would tell me to buy 30% to 50% more than whatever they say though as such info. tends to be optimistic!

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. I'll keep that in mind.

Used Bilt Hamber on a car few years ago. great product. Used about 2 large tins of cavity stuff and one tin of the underseal stuff. Don't spray near any sensors.
