Satnav sorted

A couple of months ago my satnav in my 2021 mk1 SR stopped working, would start to load then just stop. Although I use Android Auto for most journeys I like to have the built in speed limit 'nag' active. Tried all the usual resets to no avail and the local dealer didn't have any luck either. Eventually the dealer let me know that an update was available "which should fix it" (I was a bit dubious as my son in law had to have his infotainment screen sent back to MG for a fix- took 2 months)
After a month's wait for an appointment the car went in 19th December and voilà it's sorted and as a bonus the map display is improved and the screen lag is considerably better, sadly the maps were not updated though?
