Seat belt extenders

I have recently purchased 2 seat belt extenders from a company called Seatbeltextenderspros.com they are an American company dealing mainly in seat belt extenders, I ordered them on 23/12/24 and received them yesterday at a price of £18 each including shipping. I am very happy with these and highly recommend if anyone is in need of them

When plugged in does the car think a belt is on when it is not?

When the extention is placed into the socket it does indeed think that the belt is in, but what is the problem with that? Don't you buckle up each time you get into the car as should be the normal!!!

Thanks for letting me it does indeed fool the car into thinking seat belt is on.

Yes I do indeed belt up every trip in a car, but it is my wife as front seat passenger half the time doesn't because of a hidden disability of dementia. On this car I find with my big hands it is hard to get the belt clip in because it is so far down on her side.
I will go ahead and get an adaptor and will get used to checking and belting her in.

That is why I went for these, I also found the socket to far down. There is an alternative you could try taking the extention out with the seat belt attached which I tried this morning and it's real no hardship to do it this way if that would suit your needs better. But I do realy reccomend them.
