Second service cost

My Local dealer wants to charge me £209 for the second year service.
Last year he wanted to charge me £160 but after getting advice from the forum members I managed to bring it down to £80.
Any suggestions on the cost I have been quoted?

depends on the mileage, there are two different service levels for 2nd year low mileage and for 30K, I think it's somewhere on MG website, search for it. If yours is some way away from £25K, service should be cheaper than full 30K service. I paid about £280 for 30K service but also asked them to do full check on the car because I just bought it second hand. so I would say 30K service is probably about £200 (guess it also depends on the area and how busy they are)

There is "service plan" option on MG website, go there and get a quote, it will give you prices for each service over the next 4 years (or whatever number of years you enter)

My local dealer wanted £304 for second year service, I told them I wanted the MG low mileage service as I'd only done 12450 miles there response was oh mg don't do the low mileage service anymore. Phoned next nearest dealer(25 miles) who carried out the low mileage service £110 including updates pollen filter and key batterys. Check list and video.
Don't get conned by rip off dealers.
