Hi, I have just purchased a 2021 HS Phev Exclusive with around 17500 miles. It has had its first 3 services completed. I have a quote for a 3yr service plan of £1451, which includes MOT, but still struck me as expensive. If you remove MOT costs this equates to roughly £430 per service. Does this seem right? Is the HS Phev expensive to service in years 4 to 6? Many thanks.

Yes it is your next service is going to be around £700 to £800, the 4th is a big service changing all fluid etc.

OH has just bought one basically the same milage. They have said it can have a low mileage service as it’s below average which knocks it down to around £300.

With an auto box the fluid changes are always pricey. I remember years ago paying the best part of £200 to get my Jatcos drained and filled (fiddly procedure and the oil wasn’t cheap) no doubt the modern ones for the phev unit are eye wateringly expensive.

I think this depends on the garage you go too, the brake, engine coolant need to be replaced at 4years but you have coolant for the battery and motor and how will that degrade, saver to have the full service.
