The time of day is clearly shown on the driver's screen but my wife finds it annoying that she cannot see the time at a glance from the passenger's seat. (We had the same problem with our previous Audi Q3 !). I see in the multiple user options that the Clock can be shown. Indeed it appears to be by default ON and shows a full clock face. However, no where is the clock face shown (as far as we can see). When I am driving, Apple Car Play is invariably showing the route through ABRP is always on display.
Of course I can purchase a small stick-on clock but, if I am missing something in the functionality, I'd like to know. Many thanks :)

I seem to recall that the clock is on the infotainment, when the infotainment isn't governed by Android Auto or Apple Car Play.
In Android Auto the clock is visible at the infotainment.
If my above assumption is correct, then you are looking at an Apple Car Play issue. Ie check that as a first port of call.
I'm an Android user so I can't help with that last detail.

I don't use Android Auto or Apple Car Play, and I have never seen the full clock face on the infotainment screen, except in the settings. Like JIS, I've wondered where it's supposed to be visible.

I'm sorry, I haven't either seen a full clock face (i.e. a circular clockl. My bad, I was referring to digital clock. (most of OP' post is about his wife wants to see the clock)

Thank you!
Gosh; yes well that works. Great for my wife when she's driving around locally but a bit rubbish when we set off for Spain for Christmas! (Apple Car Play and ABRP in full use !!) Thanks though; it's been a niggle for some time now.

In my car, even with AA running, the top line of the Infotainment screen is always there so the digital clock can always be seen. (Yes, it is small, but it can be seen).

Yes, this is the case if you get the R59 update for the infotainment. Not sure if this was introduced in a prior update, but R59 for sure has this now.

I use the clock at night to reduce the glare. From the Home Screen, swipe from the top right corner diagonally down to the left.
Then select screen off. You then get a large analogue clock in the centre of the screen.

I too have never seen how to select the clock that is shown in the menu.
However once you display the clock, how do you restore the screen, is it by pressing the home button?
