I picked my Ev up in October, and I love it?. Smooth quick and very comfortable. However I do have a couple of misdemeanours.
It takes 12 hours to charge to 170 miles using the charger supplied. Is this correct ?
The radio unit has turned itself off twice while driviing then automatically turns back on?
The car States it's ready to drive, but will not go forwards or backwards, power down sorts it out. This has happened 4 time to date.
The lovely alloy wheels do not come with locking nuts, not mentioned by the dealer.
Any advice would be great.

Hi and welcome. Ok, I’ll try and answer a couple of your queries. 1/If you’re showing 170 miles range that’s brilliant in the winter! Most only get around 120-140miles. 2/Yes the three pin or commonly named ‘granny charger’ takes around that time depending on start %. 3/I have not had radio issues. Do you mean that the infotainment stays on but you lose volume? Or does it all go off? If you just lose volume - this can happen especially with dab. 4/I tend to get in the car foot on brake and push the start button. Give it a little while and it soon boots to ready. If you try and rush it, it can fail to go over to high voltage and you need to start again. 5/I don’t know about the locking wheel nuts. I guess these are available maybe from MG? I hope this helps. Enjoy your car.

To be honest, unless you're in a rough area, I find locking wheel nuts/bolts to be more of a pain than anything else. You can never find the bloody key, they're frequently a sod to get off without damage, and they're just an extra hassle when you're stuck at the side of the road, at night, in the p***ing rain. I've driven many cars with alloy wheels, and ditching the lock nuts was always one of the first things I did.

With a 7KW charger it should take 4-5 hours from 20% to full charge. The granny charger takes 20-24 hours. If you have the duff BMS it could take more time.

It's normal, the radio unit unexpectedly reboots whilst driving.

I had this once and I noticed that the driver door wasn't closed properly.

I've had this problem once but it was my fault. I tried engaging the drive before the car was ready and I hadn't noticed that the electronic handbrake was still on. So now I don't rush it and wait until the READY sign on the dashboard before I engage drive or reverse.

P***ing ... Pouring

Many thanks, the radio goes off completely and the MG badge comes on. Then the radio turns itself back on.
Yes your probably right about the locking nuts, just thought it would be standard with a new car.
I don't get 170 miles about 120/130 due to heater/etc still better than petrol cars, and should get better as the weather warms up?

Rebooting is not normal. I’d book it in to get checked. A couple of members on here have experienced it so you’re not alone!

My entertainment has twice crashed completely and no amount of rebooting the car sorted it. In the end it rebooted itself after 20 minutes.

I've had the same issue with the car not starting. Twice now I've come to start, it's said it's ready and nothing. Powered it off and on 5 or 6 times (all doors were shut and I was pressing fully on the brake pedal) even got out locked the car and left it for a minute and still nothing.
It started after a few more on off cycles but it was very disconcerting; nearly ended up calling the breakdown recovery.
