Bit of a weird one...but is there are way to have any warnings that pop up stay on the screen for a few more seconds? Twice now, I've heard a bleep then by the time my eyes have glanced down to the display, the message is disappearing to be replaced with a yellow triangle. The waning triangle has disappeared after the auto dip lights function has activated so I assume it's something to do with that...but it just an assumption, I'd like to know for sure. The time lag between the bleep and the message scrolling off the top of the screen can be no more than 1 second.

Anyone else have this?

Don’t think you can adjust that. That said, can you not see what the message is by looking in the Message Centre?

Do that by clicking on the icon to the right of the steering wheel that looks like pages, move the right stick so that the shield icon is on the display in front of you. I think any critical message should be there with tyre pressures and battery voltage. Can’t confirm this mind you as I don’t currently have any errors on mine.

It does help with all the warnings that pop-up and disappear in 2 microseconds and don't leave a warning triangle. Never mind all the "dings" that don't even pop-up any message. We just ignore all the warnings now, so they are a bit counterproductive!

I never knew that.
Me neither.

Glad it's not just me. It's weird that such a thing even exists. A longer message and/or an easily accessible archive seems very easy to implement.

Yes, I noticed this, exactly the same. So annoying.

Not something you really want to be doing while driving 🤔

I have tested this this week multiple times after yet another beep. There is nothing. Maybe they only show up when it is related to high risk/damage. Or Down Under cars have it, but we don't?

I want a projector that puts all the warns up on a windscreen type display and a volume control so I can turn the beeps up, real loud .... just for the wife  Not sure how long I'll get away with that quiet mutter under the breath .... It's not just me that your driving scares, the car is even making complaints the heads up display will save me trying to be inventive about what scared the car each time that made it scream for help

I love the beep and "Slow Down" message every time she does a launch from a corner or stop sign as she hits the 60km/h, no matter what the posted speed limit is ...... I've cycled through the possibles:
The front wheels are turning at different speed to the back wheels, but once the hit the road again the warning will clear

It's an abbreviated "Launch control, we have lift off"

It's just p*ssed it can't display the numbers fast enough so it wants you to slow down

All the electrons have moved to the back of the battery and the electron pump is cavitating causing low electron flow pressure ....

So, I need a few new ones .... any ideas??

You can do it from the steering wheel controls, and whilst I’m not suggesting you do it on the motorway at 70, you can easily do it with very little distraction once used to the system. Arguably it’s less distracting than talking to a passenger or on the hands free…

It 100% works as I’ve seen them several times for low tyre pressures. Once you’re on the correct screen (the one with tyre pressures and battery voltage) you should see a little down arrow just below the image of the car. That’s your cue to move the right hand joystick downwards - pull it down as if trying to move down a menu, don’t press it in.

Also important not to press the pages icon again before doing this, as that locks the visible screen and stops you having the ability to scroll through.

There is a setting in the drivers screen menu, the one with the brightness setting etc. where you can set a manual speed limit, when you exceed the speed set there it will show you the “slow down” message.

Well, that would take all the fun out of it ...... or .... I could reset it for when I'm driving and then set it back to 60km/h when she is driving ........ this could either be a lot of fun, or a few nights sleeping in one of the vehicles if she catches me  :ROFLMAO:

By the way, thank you for the tip, much appreciated :D

Thanks Diggsy. I will check again.
Is that arrow always present, or only if there was a message coming from the car?

I think you'll only find a message there if a yellow warning triangle is still on the display. Sometimes these messages flash up but don't leave a triangle. I suppose that means they're probably not important or just a glitch.
