Sound quality in the Trophy

While I can see why people might want to upgrade the speakers, it's serviceable. Unless you turn on the 3D sound processing and the virtual subwoofer. Then it's abysmal, creates a horribly trebly, resonant sound like being inside a biscuit tin. Honestly don't know why people would use such a feature. Radio is broadcast in stereo or occasionally mono, so there is no 3D data to process - it's entirely synthetic. There is hardly any downloadable music out there that is mixed for 3D and I'm not even sure if the DAC in the system can actually decode this properly anyway. Such a stupid feature.
