MG4 Trophy LR
Got up Friday morning to suspect that a small piece of masonry had been detached from the garage roof and fallen onto my MG4 Trophy - breaking the plastic cover on the nearside rear lights. I was less bothered about the small dent which may have been the result of out bin flying into it, since the paint is not broken and I looked into just replacing the broken plastic cover. To my horror I discovered today that I cannot replace the cover, since only the full light assembly is available at a cost of £312. Since the MG4 is a newish model I guess I have no alternative - unless someone knows differently.

Has anyone any experience to advise how difficult fitting a replacement might be?

Thanks.

Fitting a replacement is easy. Two bolts and a wiring plug. See this thread about replacing the reversing lights with LEDs

Check with your dealer's parts department on how much a replacement will cost to give you some idea if used ones are a good deal.
