Elsewhere on this site, I have been moaning about an EO charger that seems to be duff.
Last night, the Charger switched on as per schedule, but did not charge. This morning, the 12 volt was flat enough not to switch on the car. I imagine that the charger switched on the 12V circuits, which then drained it.
So, this morning I charged up the battery with the 12V car charger. That seemed to sort the problem. But later in the day, 30 miles away, and three hours parked, the 12V battery signal said it was very low and I should start the car. Fortunately, the car did start.
I drove to a rapid charger and did an 85% charge. Having arrived home, I continued to charge the 12V battery. The volt meter for what its worth, says the 12V battery is 13 volts when driving, and 12,5 when stationary for a while.
I am wondering if the 12V battery is duff, which might be causing the charging problems..................
I am about to replace the charger, but it would be cruel if the problem is the 12V battery.......
