it's now three weeks since I took delivery my new MG Zs trophy
Hence the headline to this post, it's not nice to come face to face with the realisation of your own limits, I have been out in the car as much as I can I have grabbed my youngest son to Nurse me through a recharge at the local charge point the local supermarket has two instavolt points so I took out membership and deposited 50 pounds into my account so I would have two ways of paying I have been twice to top up only to find I am 50 pounds in credit but both charge points have failed and out of action so I am using our new petrol station who have got to charge points a different company but found it very easy just tap your card no that's wrong plug your car in first then tap your card sit and scan your phone make a couple of calls you didn't really have to make, and as soon as it topped 90% my car again unplugged and we were away I must admit I didn't really have a problem with that at all but I have had two instances both with madam on board, traffic lights the handbrake wouldn't release Causing Great alarm for a few seconds, the car behind taking full advantage to exercise is hooter the bas----
the problem was me not applying the foot brake to release the handbrake the wife still mentions it,the other thing was the air conditioning had switched itself off and trying to find the switch to put it back on whilst Driving was not easy we had to stop for me to find it but those two things screwed up our journey because the wife was starting to wilt countless times I've had to explain that the car was not at fault and it was pilot error getting to know the car is proving to be more difficult than I thought and with not having a manual on board no longer supplied with new vehicles, that is taking economics to a stupid level yes all the information is on the internet, but I don't have my computer with me in the car be handy just to thumb through whilst waiting for a bit of charge but no, hopefully when the wife calms down and renews her faith in me we can get out to the East Coast one day next week If my nerve holds and I can get the wife in the car.
