MG4 Comfort
Hello everyone. I'm the owner of a Comfort MG4. MG4 comfort was sold with 2 different versions in Turkey. While the first version has a temperature indicator, there is no such thing in the 2nd version I bought. Does the vehicle not have the ability to measure the outside temperature? Or is it possible to turn it back on with an update or something?

Comfort = SE LR in UK terms? (i.e. base specification but with the 64 kWh NMC battery pack).

I suspect that your first car had Infotainment software version 1100R13, and the next one has 1100R16 or 1100R21. Both those versions removed the external temperature display. My own car originally had 1100R13 but now has 1100R33 ... the latest version brings that temperature display back, and now in 0.5°C increments. (1100R13 has it in 1°C increments, from memory).

tl;dr ... ask your dealer to install 1100R33. One way to try to force this is to state that the lack of external temperature indication is a safety issue, as the driver is unaware of potential adverse road conditions due to having no indication of ambient temperature.

Thank you very much for your answer. I think it's SE SR in the UK (51kWh version). This is actually the only mg4 car I've ever bought. (I've suffered the wrath of my bad English) I mean, mg4 comfort was sold with 2 different versions in Turkey and the 2nd version is called v2, which is the version I have. As far as I understand from Turkish forums, there was a temperature indicator in the first versions. But as I understand from your answer, it is possible that it will come back with a software update, which would be pleasing.

Hey there, I also live in Turkey, Ankara and my vehicle is v2 SE SR. Unfortunately, I can not see the temperature either.
In my opinion we should update our software to final R33 version. Have you ever asked the service for the update?

Izmir service may update your car but it's too far to me.
