The Watt meter etc

Why is it that when I'm going down hill the regen/watt meter gives a -Kw number, If I step on it it gives a Kw figure, to my remaining braincell that is counter intuitive, it should be +Kw on regen and -Kw on acceleration surely.

Also why is the default option on start up Normal and not Eco?

There are a few other anomalies too that my braincell has forgotten about.

It's because it is displaying consumption, not generation.
Positive consumption is consumption and negative consumption is generation.

Surely it displays both Alb, a minus sign in the normal world would indicate something is less or reducing, the absence of a minus sign would indicate no movement or in this case an increase.
