Hi All,
Sometimes, when I lock the vehicle with the remote control or door button. After a while the alarm starts to beep without any reason.
I bought a new MG4 a week ago. In the second day thief alarm started to go off at our car park. At first I thought it was caused by our cat but it happened a few more times. So, in the end, I left the car unlocked. That continues to happen at my office. I gave the keys to the Security :-(
Just an additional info; I am also getting eCall warning/error during driving. I am not sure if it is related or not..

Btw, I went to the dealer and explained all. They said that it is the first time they heard such a problem. They have updated the software but not solved. So, they will consult to MG Global. Next monday, I have another appointment.

Although I have good driving experience, This issue bothers me a lot., especially at such a brand new car... Except for work, I am afraid to go out by car, in deed.

Is there anybody, experiencing this issue, any recommendation?

Are you accidentality pressing the lock button on the key fob?

The car has a "find me" feature so if you've lost it in the car park pressing the lock button when the car is already locked can either flash the hazard lights and sound the horn or just the hazard lights.

That was my thought too, I would change the find me feature to lights only to rule this out.

Unfortunately no. key/remote is on the table at home/office.

Btw, today I noticed "Bonnet Open alarm" while driving and remembered that in the first day when I received the car I got this warning once but never seen again until today. The reality is the bonnet is already closed. So, there may be a problem at the sensors.
Open it and shut it again
