Recently the dealer upgraded my system to R63 and also enabled the tbox for iSmart. These happened with a few weeks' difference, so I don't know at which point this happened, but the weather now stopped loading. Even when connected to wifi. I know other users in my area have no issues with the weather, so I'm guessing it's not a problem with the servers not responding. I am suspecting something is missing from my software, any ideas? I'm planning on taking it to the dealer to review, but they are not very savvy so I'd like to have some ideas to tell them.

If it's not working even with WiFi it's definitely something to do with the server side. You could check it through the Android settings exploit and check the connectivity, but if you don't want to go down this tricky route the only way is to go to the dealer

Maybe the head unit needs re-activating. Try this.
How to reactivate the MG4 head unit.
From the main screen, swipe left to the other screen and select “settings”
On the settings screen, select “system” from the list on the right hand side.
On the system screen, tap “Entertainment system” 5 times in quick succession,
this brings up a dialogue to enter a pin number.
Enter the pin number: 200519 this opens the Engineering mode page.
On the Engineering mode screen, select “Activate” on the right hand side this brings up another page. On the list on the left change “switch environment” from “/Current PP” to “/Current P” then exit that screen. Select activate again to check that the environment is still set to “/Current P” then select Activate at the top of the list then when it confirms activation, exit.
Note: WiFi must be connected to perform the above.
Exit engineering mode and go back to the main settings page and under activation the page should show the head unit as activated (blue). You can now activate the map underneath it if you haven’t already done so.

Thanks. If I remember correctly, it was already in /Current P but will check again. Also, maps in navigation are working fine, and I have good GPS signal too.

Nope, still the same after switching from P to PP and back to P again.

Added video of the issue in the first post too. The app itself does not load at all, and goes back to the main screen immediately.
