My two year old MG4 SE has started leaking, with water dripping from the seam between the drivers side pillar and headliner. There's no visible damage to the door seal or windscreen, so I suspect the sealant has failed on the windscreen. Has anyone had similar issues, and success getting this fixed under warranty? I don't want to get this fobbed off as wear and tear.

Also, I've struggled with condensation and frost forming inside the windscreen since brand new - which I'd just accepted as due to weak AC. Has anyone else had similar issues, or is it a sign that the seals have been failing for a while?

On the MG5 there's a pipe which feeds the rear screenwash in the A-pillar with a joint which can come apart especially if it is freezing cold. I would check & see if your rear screenwash is working. Others have posted photos of how to access the joint on other threads on this forum. It may be the same on the MG4.....

Thanks, I saw that issue when I searched the forum. Sadly, no rear wiper on my MG4

My SE is also getting on for two and I've had nothing like this. I do find I sometimes have to fiddle with the HVAC controls to prevent it fogging up, either in very wet weather or (especially) if I have passengers, but setting it to front windscreen fan with A/C always does it.

Can't tell you how relieved I am to hear that I am not the only person suffering this exact same problem. I have a 2yr old MG4EV Trophy. I had huge problems during its first winter with interior frost on the screen; as it approached its first warranty service I realised that the drivers well carpet was soaking wet under a custom floor mat. The MG agent dried the car our ans put it down to a door seal which they replaced under warranty. All good during the warmer drier weather of spring, summer and into autumn until this last winter when the same thing happens all over again...worse this time as the headliner was dripping water inside from just behind the pillar seam (sound familiar?)..headliner photo showed water soaking through... and the carpet was again wet. 2nd warranty service was due so I explained this was clearly the same problem which had not been fixed by the doorseal replacement. They agreed, and have had the car for five weeks, driex it out, took out headliner, hosed it all over and found the windscreen was leaking, top centre, water channeling along the top and finding its way down inside the car I susoect by more than one route. Problem now is that the agent is having a battle with MG central to agree a warranty repair / replacement . Suggest you stick to a warranty option if at all possible and refuse to accept this as wear and tear...no other car I have ever owned has had this problem.

Happy to say that my local dealer identified it as a bad seal on the windscreen. It was resealed by Autoglass under warranty - all done via the dealer. No leaks since. But it still has the same condensation problem so just going to chalk that up to a design flaw.
