Windscreen Washers

Has anyone replaced windscreen washer jets either oem or aftermarket? Mine have always been poor. I asked garage adjust them last service but they failed miserably.

I haven’t, but the design is interesting. When standing still I quite like how they create a fine mist that covers the whole windscreen, but when driving or if there is a lot of wind they definitely seem less effective to me. Although so far they’ve never failed to wash the windscreen if I’m honest

They are rubbish and are only really effective at very low speeds

Mine have never worked properly since I've had the car(September) then last week packed up altogether had to poke out with needle and scrubbing with old toothbrush. Eventually managed tget then working but still not 100%.

Have you changed which screenwash additive you use? Sometimes different ones react with each other and form a scum which will block the jets.

True but rear washer worked perfectly from new.
Only other thing I noticed was when I opened the bonnet for the first time the whole engine bay was covered in a thick brown dust probably what blocked the jets. Outside had been washed by dealer.
