Have looked at the owners manual how to fold in the mirrors while driving. Said to push the selector switch. Tried this nothing happened. Anyone else have this?

They only work if your speed is I think it’s below 5mph

Many thanks. I didn’t know the difference between in and down.All working fine. The main reason for looking was during the freezing weather the mirrors froze in the folded in position. Wanted to see if I could stop the mirrors folding when locking the car. It doesn’t appear possible? Any ideas? Sorry for wasting your time.

Glad you’ve sorted it. No you can’t switch off the folding when locked function. Someone suggested a plastic bag and elastic band to wrap them up if it gets really cold. Mine seem to work fine when frozen - but I know what you mean.

I cleaned and dried the area where they fold then applied some silicone spray, it seems to be working.

My driver's door mirror stopped working between Christmas and New year. The garage tried to fix it when the car was in for the BMS update. But now it has stopped working again.
