I'm not impressed at all with the car on icy mornings it's taking 15 minutes or more to unfreeze the windscreen, and you freeze during the process, I put the vent on recirculation, but on driving in traffic I find I'm breathing diesel fumes as it isn't closing properly if at all, when I try to change it, I hear no movement of air flaps at all.

I'd warm the car from the app but the app still isn't working so I have to sit in a cold car.

Another thing I noticed the other day I tried to reverse the car onto the drive which is hilly but it was like the clutches were slipping, the engine was up to temp but it struggled to move a few metres, it's the same on a morning when I reverse out of the drive up a bit of a hill, I have to really rev it to get any movement at all, the wonder of CVT.

This car is not at all impressive at times, and the ACC just tries the stop the car for the oddest reasons, a shame as it was a selling point for me as I used CC all the time on other cars, or would if it was reliable.

The car has a regular Torque Converter auto box (3 speed), not a CVT.
I've mentioned before, when going uphill the car engine revs will jump up to 2 or 2.500. I think it's because the engine is trying to ensure there's plenty of power in the battery to drive the motor.
However as I mentioned elsewhere, my Engine emissions light came back on again last night, so the efficiency seems to take a nose dive. The only plus point, an appointment had already been made for next Monday (2nd Dec) at the request of my dealer to change the EGR valve as a precaution to stop this problem.
Third time with this problem!

I highly recommend this product, CarPlan Demon Ice. It is cheap and you spray some onto the screen the night before. It does not stop ice from forming, it makes it very easy and fast to scrape off.
