Be interesting to see the next gen X power that hits the roads is like
X power styling is pretty good now but a few slight design changes inside and out and decent refinement to the chassis and handling at a similar cost to now and it will be a winner!!
That said there is going to be a flood of Chinese EVs coming in to AUS over the next year or so ( we seem to be the dumping ground for Chinese EVs )
There may be a few gems in them that challenge the XPower for price and performance..
While MG is not super amazing quality a lot can be said about some of the rubbish EVs the China has produced that AUS may end up with!
My wish list I suppose for next gen X power is sub 65k aud
500km 600km range no more than 400kW AWD (so cyberster power ) the car really doesn’t need much more power than that !!
More so to just counter balance the bigger battery to give it a sub 4 second 0-100
19” or 20” rims with some 255-265 boots..
Maybe twin piston brake callipers ( no fake covers )
Simple and minimalist interior with some better racing / bucket seats ..
Better phone charger holder !!!?
I want it to handle and sit on the road like a 2024 golf R so it needs better refinement in the chassis / suspension / balance department ..
