Your most fuel efficient run,

In the lead up to Christmas i drove to my daughter's house in Sydney, a distance of 120kms. According to the car i used a total of 4.0 litres of petrol at M1 (100km per hr) speed, consisting of a lot of up and down terrain including two very long climbs after valley and river crossings. It was a 30°C day and the air con was on the whole time.
This equates to 30 km per litre of fuel. Not sure how this translates to UK distances and volumes, but its the best single run I have had so far. Total km on the car is 3200 so far.

FYI…..your MPG figure. That’s an amazing figure…I’d be happy to get even close to that when we get warmer temperatures.

Think I've done that once on a short journey. Unfortunately not seeing a good return at moment; 2000 miles and averaging 49mpg. My old i20 managed 44. Hopefully once we get March April economy will increase.
